Surfdome has been shortlisted in the Drapers 2018 Awards for Sustainability
The annual Drapers Awards will see multi-million-pound fashion retailers, brand ambassadors and independent owners come together to celebrate their achievements in everything from the best fashion marketing campaign to young fashion brand of the year.
This year, Internet Fusion is proud to announce that action-sports retailer Surfdome has been shortlisted for the Sustainability Award alongside fashion heavyweights including Burberry, H&M and K-Swiss. Held on 29th November, the Drapers Awards will be held at the iconic Roundhouse in London, with 800 members of the finest fashion retailers gathering to see who will take home the prestigious awards. Instead of attending the awards event on the night, Internet Fusion will alternatively be reinvesting the money into their market-leading sustainability campaigns and initiatives.
To be in a chance of winning the sustainability award, Surfdome will be judged against a strict criterion including how ambitious their sustainability strategy is, whether it has set new standards in the industry and what the benefits to the wider community have been during the last 12 months.

Surfdome has spearheaded the sustainability campaign at Internet Fusion, supporting the 2 Minute Beach Clean, The Plastic Project and Protect Our Winters initiatives throughout its marketing activities. The state-of-the-art Internet Fusion warehouse also prides itself on sending Surfdome’s products in 95% plastic-free packaging to customers around the world.
A great achievement for the Group, the green-powered warehouse at Internet Fusion uses 100% renewable energy to power its operations and boasts environmentally-friendly attributes including efficient heat recovery systems, grey water systems, Solar PV panelling and a zero waste to landfill operation. Sustainability is something that is very close to everyone at Surfdome & Internet Fusion’s hearts and we hope the company’s actions influence the wider business community and raise further awareness for the cause, whilst allowing us to strive to improve our own business practices.
